The public relations department of the Hazrat Nabi Akram Corps, affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Kermanshah, has announced the demise of security guard Mahdi Shah Maleki during a confrontation with a suspect in Islamabad Gharb City (Kermanshah province). IRGC forces were dispatched to apprehend the suspect in the city, resulting in two IRGC members sustaining injuries and being subsequently hospitalized. Mehdi Shah Maleki passed away as a result of his severe injuries.
. It is worth mentioning that a few days prior to this incident, Sajjad Amiri, another IRGC security personnel, was killed in Kermanshah. According to opposition sources, both individuals were allegedly involved in suppressing protesters.
