According to Brigadier General Amir-Ali Hajizadeh, the IRGC's Aerospace Division commander, Iran is preparing to reveal a domestically developed hypersonic ballistic missile shortly. Hajizadeh claimed that "this advanced missile can evade all air defense missile systems and effectively target the enemy's anti-missile systems. With a high velocity reaching approximately 12-13 times the speed of sound (Mach 12-13), the missile can maneuver both within and outside the Earth's atmosphere".
